Happening (L’Événement)– 1 Blu-Ray copy or 1 DVD copy to win – Giveaway
The powerful and timely film Happening will be released by Picturehouse Entertainment in the UK on Digital on Monday 11 July 2022 and on Blu-Ray/ DVD on Monday 18 July 2022.
Directed by Audrey Diwan, Happening is an emotional, race against time for a teenage girl in 1960s France as she battles against the patriarchy for bodily autonomy.
Anne is played captivatingly by Anamaria Vartolomei, as the young student who finds herself pregnant during a very conservative, historical period. Happening is the winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 2021, it is BAFTA nominated and it is also a Reclaim the Frame spotlighted film.

Terms and Conditions
The giveaway (hereinafter referenced as the ‘prize draw’) can be entered on Instagram or Twitter and is subject to the following Terms and Conditions of entry:
Entries must be submitted on Instagram or Twitter by following the accounts @Franglais27 and @picturehouses
On Instagram and Twitter, the original prize draw post must be liked as well as tagging a friend and adding a comment. On Twitter, the original post should also be re-tweeted.
All the above steps must be complied with to represent a valid entry for the prize draw.
Only one entry per household may be submitted before the prize draw deadline.
The deadline for submitting entries is 8 July 2022 at 17.00 (BST). Entries received after such time will not be eligible for the prize draw.
Entrants must be UK resident and registered as an Instagram or Twitter user.
There is no purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
Employees and family members associated with Franglais27 Tales are not eligible to enter.
The winning entries will be selected at random.
One winning entry will be selected on Instagram and one winning entry will be selected on Twitter; each winner will receive either one Blu-Ray copy of Happening or one DVD copy of Happening as the prize.
The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred and there is no cash alternative.
The winners will be contacted within three business days of the deadline by direct message to confirm an email address to arrange for delivery of the prize.
The winners must respond by direct message within two days of such notification referenced above in order to claim their prize. An alternative winner will be selected if there is no response received by direct message within this specified time period.
Following receipt of the delivery information from the winners, the prize will be distributed to the chosen delivery address by Picturehouse Entertainment UK as the sponsor of the prize draw as soon as is reasonably practicable.
The social media handles of the winners may be announced on Instagram after the winners have claimed their prize.
This prize draw is governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in connection with it.
